The following report was first made available under an affiliated website in September 2011. After an introductory text it details the efforts of one member of the board of the German EBEN chapter to hi-jack and control the business ethics movement in Berlin and to prevent networking. It also details the underhand workings of two individuals to intrigue their way into positions of influence (in lieu of argument).

Cusanus has endeavored, as always, to frame the events in phrasing and with asides such that the reader is not only well-informed, but entertained even while being provided with a critical understanding of business ethics. Priority is given nonetheless to correctness of information and analysis, and it is intended that readers should not merely consume information (for what purpose?) but obtain an insight into the machinations of opportunistic characters eager to abuse the language of ethics and, indeed, their fellows.
